1.1 Registration on Behalf of Others
If you register another person for the Forum, you confirm that:
2. Changes and Cancellations
2.1 Right to Modify: We may change, postpone, or cancel any part of the Forum (including speakers, content, venue, or dates) at our discretion. We are not responsible for costs you may incur as a result, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
2.2 Notice of Changes: We will notify you of any significant changes by email and/or through the official Forum website.
2.3 Postponement: If the Forum is postponed, your registration will automatically be valid for the rescheduled date. No refunds will be issued due to postponement.
2.4 Cancellation: If the Forum is canceled, our liability is limited to refunding the registration fee, minus any processing charges. We are not responsible for other expenses, such as travel or lodging.
3. Attendee Conduct

3.2 Environmental Responsibility: The Forum is committed to sustainability. Attendees are encouraged to minimize paper use and adopt environmentally friendly practices.
3.3 Right to Remove: We reserve the right to remove any attendee who violates these Terms, venue rules, or applicable laws, without refund.
4. Media and Intellectual Property
4.1 Photography and Recording: By attending the Forum, you grant us permission to record, photograph, and use your likeness, voice, and participation for promotional, educational, or other legitimate purposes without compensation.
4.2 Intellectual Property: All Forum content (including presentations, materials, and recordings) is the property of the Organizer, its sponsors, or the respective speakers. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent.
5. Registration and Payment, Cancellation, Refund, Transfer of Registration, Accommodation, Travel and Visa Expenses
5.1 Registration and Payment Registration is valid only upon receipt of full payment by the Registration Department by the applicable registration deadline. An email confirmation of registration will be issued only after the required fees have been received.
5.2 Cancellation: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to the Registration Department. The effective date of cancellation will be the date on which the written request is received.
5.3 Refund:
Refunds of the registration fee will be processed according to the following schedule:
Refunds apply to the registration fee only. Any accommodation, travel, or visa-related expenses incurred by the attendee are the attendee’s responsibility and are not included in the registration fee or eligible for reimbursement by the organizer.
5.4 Transfer of Registration:Registration may be transferred to another individual at any time without penalty. Transfer requests must be submitted to the Registration Department by email and should include the details of both the original registrant and the replacement attendee. Once the transfer is confirmed, the replacement attendee will assume the registration associated with the transferred registration.
5.5 Accommodation, Travel and Visa Expenses:The registration fee does not include accommodation, travel expenses, or travel visa costs. These expenses are the sole responsibility of the attendee and are not eligible for refund or reimbursement by the organizer, regardless of the cancellation or transfer of registration.
6. Liability and Indemnification
6.1 Limitation of Liability:
6.2 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your violation of these Terms or any misconduct at the Forum.
7. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, labor strikes, or technical failures.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Quebec.
9. General Provisions
9.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms represent the full and complete agreement between you and the Organizer regarding your participation in the Forum.
9.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
9.3 Waiver: Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our rights.
9.4 Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights at any time.
